You wouldn't really know it to look at me. But when I was in high school, I was actually a gymnast. I started that in my freshman year and did it for three years throughout high school. And one of the first things when going into that, if you've not ever done it before, is that it can be a bit intimidating, it can be overwhelming. And we see people doing handstands and backhand springs. And they're working on the parallel bars, doing all these backflips and back handsprings. I mean, look at anything, oh, my goodness, wow, I could never do that. But if you start in the beginning, don't give up. You learn the first technique, you learn the first trick. And there are some tricks in gymnastics, I mean, you think is all brute strength.

And trust me, there's got to be a lot of strength to it. But there's also a lot of technique.

And so what we want to do is bring that to you today with Whole Foods, plant based lifestyle. A lot of people look at and think, Oh, this seems so hard. Yeah. And it may in the beginning, only because it's likely something you haven't done before. Right? Maybe you don't think you have? I mean, there are ways that you can make this simpler?

Well, I think a lot of people, it's funny, because they'll hear that we eat whole food plant based and they'll say immediately there go to us, I can never do that. Or how do you do that. And it's just it's so funny to us now, because we're on the other side of it. And it just is not hard. It's actually the simplest way we've ever lived. We're talking about that today how easy it is and how much time we save, because we don't have to clean up grease all over the kitchen anymore.

And we don't have to wash and disinfect our counters in the same way that we did when we were eating meat on a daily basis. And it was getting everywhere. And you have to constantly be disinfecting everything we still clean. But it's just you don't have the same thing. No, it's very different. And so many, many things change. And it can be the ultimate fast food if you know how to do it. So really, the first thing is just getting over the thought processes and the wrong mindsets around eating this way. And eating healthy and thinking about it has to be hard nothing sometimes see and want to see if you agree with me that sometimes that happens to us because of our experiences in trying to get healthy. Because a lot of times you try to get healthy, you you automatically go to your default of a diet, well, I've got to find a diet that will work. And I've never found one that worked before or I've just failed on it. And I need to try that same thing again. I've seen people try the same exact diet multiple times and maybe lose a little bit. But then they go off of it, gain it all back. And then you know down the road sixpence, they're going to try it again. Or there's the newest, latest and greatest thing you're going to try. And what we know is if you don't get to the root cause of whatever issue you're wanting to fix, be it your way, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, whatever those things are, that you need to get beyond for me, it was my energy. I mean, I had no energy, I was constantly aching, my joints were hurting.

And I just couldn't do all the things I wanted to do. I mean, I was purpose driven. I wanted to have the energy to chase my children around and play with them and build a business and all those things that that we knew we wanted to do as a family. I couldn't even think about doing that. All I could think about was how am I going to make it through this day without crashing and burning and physically make it to the end of it. I reached a point where I was thinking, I don't know how much longer I can go this way.

Yes. And I heard something that I want to share that I believe it was Michael Hyatt had done a study where they were looking at willpower, they wanted to study just willpower. And what they found is that there really is no such thing. I know that sounds kind of bizarre, because you hear that all your life, you just got to get the willpower, you just got to bust through it. But what he found is that it's actually your environment around you that will determine your success far more than just your willpower.

So again, it's not hard, it's just knowing how to get all the right pieces into place. You don't know what to shop shop for, you don't know where to shop, you don't know how to buy it. And you get in your mind all these pieces, I don't know. But really, if you can just link up with someone who's been there who can turn those, what could be yours for you. because trust me, it took us years to figure out these things. And if you can get in a place where somebody who can answer all your questions and show you simple step by step of what to do. It really can turn your years in today's and give you that motivation and excitement to because you all of a sudden have new friendships and people you're sharing ideas with and new recipes and things to try.

And then one of the biggest things that makes it simple, I think Jared is just as you go, if you just adopt the idea of something like 30 days, I'm just gonna do this for 30 days. I heard we just kind of had that whole idea that we see all the time with friends, clients family, that, well, I'm just getting older.

And when you get older, you just hurt and things get harder and you get diagnosis. And this is just the way it is but it doesn't have to be that way. And we found that to be true. And we've seen these things reverse in our own lives with vascular disease and joint pain in our energy going up and when that happens, that keeps you going.

And I think then the big, the big game changer, I mean, this is just huge, is all of a sudden you realize you have some power, you have some control, all of a sudden you're empowered over your health. Whereas you were told when you went to the office, that this is just how it's going to be, you know, and if you like this food, well, you're never going to be able to have it again, instead of somebody showing you a way that you can, and you start learning, you can do these things to take power and take control over your own health, your body was created to heal, if you just know how to get the nutrients in a way that you enjoy them, that tastes good for you in that simple and saves you time and saves you money, and you know, all those different place things to get into place that will work for you. And that will get you enabled you to be in a position where you can create the life you want. I mean, that's, that's a game changer. Now of the sudden, I'm empowered, you mean to tell me that I'm untold on my life, I'm gonna have to always take these medicines, I'm gonna always have to, you know, feel this way.

Yeah, just I've got to deal with it. And you don't. I mean, many, many, many times, there's more to it than meets the eye and Jarrod and I don't just teach about eating. But that's not all there is to it. There's a lot of other lifestyle things that need to get right. But the thing is, when you're talking about any of those things, you just got to have the simple steps to take and do them one at a time. And over time, it quickly adds up.

And we know it's happened to us, it's happened to clients, they'll call us and say why did I do that? That's all the motivation you need. Because when you eat it, and you start feeling that pain again, you're right back into the good stuff and feeling great. And really, you just don't want it you get in your mind that you like you might be two months down the road. And you think well, what if I just ate that again, just every once in a while and you try it and you think what the world was, I think it had I lost my mind. because number one you have built up in your mind that it tastes amazing. And you remember how it tasted to you.

Get the right mentors, people who can show you how to turn your years into days. And then just make a 30 day goal. Don't say oh, this is going to be a lifetime thing.
