00:00:01.124 --> 00:00:02.186
Well, hello sister.
00:00:02.186 --> 00:00:08.188
I am so glad you're joining me for this episode, because today Jared has another surprise in store for him.
00:00:08.320 --> 00:00:20.400
You know how I love to surprise Jared, I think we just need to change the name of our podcast from Power On Plants to Shocking Ah or Surprise Jared or something else Shocking.
00:00:20.460 --> 00:00:21.225
Ah, with plants.
00:00:21.225 --> 00:00:35.207
No, seriously, the thing you may not know is this week was Jared's 52nd birthday, and so, to celebrate, he's going to do something special to help you out by sharing some of the wisdom he's gained on this amazing plant based journey.
00:00:35.207 --> 00:00:40.981
These are the things that have changed his life the most, and you'll want to hear all about this.
00:00:40.981 --> 00:00:47.963
So stick around, because he's going to be telling us a lot of stuff today, because we've lived a lot of years.
00:00:51.000 --> 00:00:51.923
It's about to get real.
00:00:52.640 --> 00:00:55.509
Hey sister, welcome to the Power On Plants podcast.
00:00:55.509 --> 00:01:00.871
Are you tired of staring into the fridge wondering what to eat so you can just feel better?
00:01:00.871 --> 00:01:06.242
Do you want to avoid spending hours in the kitchen making complicated meals in the name of help?
00:01:06.242 --> 00:01:12.533
Would you love to leave fatigue behind and finally have the energy to do all the things you want to do?
00:01:12.533 --> 00:01:20.209
Hi, we're Jared and I need to resell Christ followers, healthcare professionals, parents of four and big fans of great tasting food.
00:01:20.209 --> 00:01:32.424
We, too, tried exercising more, eating natural and clean foods, but we still found ourselves struggling with what we thought were changes that come with age or bad genes, and we weren't finding answers to traditional routes.
00:01:32.424 --> 00:01:39.650
So we dug into the research and created our secret nutritional weapon sustainable plant based living.
00:01:39.650 --> 00:01:43.430
The truth is, you can eat more whole plant foods and it's not hard.
00:01:43.430 --> 00:01:45.022
You just need the way.
00:01:45.022 --> 00:01:48.590
That's realistic and delicious so you never feel deprived.
00:01:48.590 --> 00:01:56.849
If you're ready to enjoy your meals, no longer be held back by your health struggles and actively live your life, then you're in the right place.
00:01:56.849 --> 00:02:02.129
So grab your favorite plant based cup of happy pop in those earbuds and let's get started.
00:02:03.799 --> 00:02:04.602
Just for the record here.
00:02:04.602 --> 00:02:08.991
I have no idea what kind of wisdom it is you're wanting to glean from me.
00:02:10.223 --> 00:02:11.748
I'm just going to let you start talking.
00:02:11.748 --> 00:02:16.427
I've got nothing, so this is just Jared's just running the show today and I'm putting you on the spot.
00:02:16.427 --> 00:02:18.331
No, I'm just kidding, I wouldn't do that to you.
00:02:18.331 --> 00:02:19.834
I'm going to turn 52.
00:02:19.834 --> 00:02:36.269
So, in honor of the five and 52, I would like for you to tell us five of the life changing benefits, the most life changing benefits I know there are more than five that you've experienced that you're most thankful for, and these are benefits of living whole food plant based.
00:02:36.269 --> 00:02:44.234
So five of the biggest benefits that you feel like you've gotten since going whole food plant based because of these incredible foods.
00:02:44.234 --> 00:02:44.701
Are we doing this?
00:02:44.822 --> 00:02:50.465
rapid fire, or are we just listening and talk about them and that's up to you.
00:02:50.465 --> 00:02:54.056
Okay, because I mean, I came into this with no rules, I served.
00:02:54.800 --> 00:02:56.044
I've served and you got the ball.
00:02:57.139 --> 00:03:00.990
I would say the first one was definitely weight loss Okay.
00:03:01.599 --> 00:03:03.774
Tell me a little about that, though I do like that idea.
00:03:03.774 --> 00:03:05.407
Because you weren't Tell me a little about that?
00:03:05.407 --> 00:03:06.300
Because that was huge for us.
00:03:06.419 --> 00:03:10.887
The key element was weren't trying it, just that it happened naturally.
00:03:10.887 --> 00:03:13.568
So we were enjoying our food, getting healthier.
00:03:13.568 --> 00:03:18.528
Got a couple of other things I can share in a moment, but I think the first thing that comes to mind was weight loss.
00:03:18.528 --> 00:03:21.579
When I was at my heaviest I was around 230.
00:03:21.579 --> 00:03:35.967
But of course that was as a young PA working in a medical practice have the drug reps bringing in breakfast, lunch, friday afternoon, ice cream, social stuff and I really ate with just no limits.
00:03:36.740 --> 00:03:37.481
And I don't know that.
00:03:37.481 --> 00:03:40.931
That's very different from how most Americans do things.
00:03:40.931 --> 00:03:44.471
I mean, if you work a job outside the home, you're eating all kinds of stuff.
00:03:44.471 --> 00:03:54.949
And if you're in the home let's say you're a stay at home mom but your kids are in school or you're home school and you've got to figure out fast ways to eat and you don't know how to make plant based foods taste good.
00:03:54.949 --> 00:03:59.485
So you've got your little side veggie and then you're just eating the regular stuff everybody else is eating.
00:03:59.485 --> 00:04:04.165
I mean, it's easy to put on the pounds and it's not even your fault, it's just you don't know what to do.
00:04:04.165 --> 00:04:05.584
So it's just how you eat.
00:04:05.584 --> 00:04:09.311
And there are certain foods that just cause you to gain weight.
00:04:09.742 --> 00:04:12.681
In the case of all of that, it was free.
00:04:13.002 --> 00:04:14.127
Right Again, young PA.
00:04:14.127 --> 00:04:15.169
That makes it even worse.
00:04:15.819 --> 00:04:25.550
Yeah, we didn't have kids yet, but we were trying and you know money, thinking hey, we're saving money and don't have to worry about packing food and all that.
00:04:25.550 --> 00:04:29.088
And you, just you sit there and you talk and you eat, and you eat a little too much.
00:04:29.088 --> 00:04:33.851
So before I knew it, I had gotten up to I believe my highest ever was 232 pounds.
00:04:33.959 --> 00:04:39.024
But I will say that when you weren't there, we were eating healthy and you did pack your lunches sometimes.
00:04:39.024 --> 00:04:57.391
So as your career progressed, we did start looking into nutrition, especially looking at having children, and we started living organic and free range and cage free and eating all these things that we thought were healthier, and we weighed our highest at that point when we were eating those better foods.
00:04:58.139 --> 00:04:58.963
I think when we did that.
00:04:58.983 --> 00:05:00.326
I kind of plateaued around 220.
00:05:01.800 --> 00:05:03.666
So I was still still above.
00:05:03.666 --> 00:05:06.372
Now I have around like 190, 195.
00:05:06.372 --> 00:05:07.235
I'm 61.
00:05:07.576 --> 00:05:08.160
Yeah, we lost.
00:05:08.180 --> 00:05:11.269
We lost a little bit more of a muscular build, I guess.
00:05:11.439 --> 00:05:17.369
We lost over 70 pounds together without even trying to lose weight, and that's just and that was food-based.
00:05:17.369 --> 00:05:22.192
It wasn't like we started hitting the gym 10 times a week or you know, doing these kind of things.
00:05:22.192 --> 00:05:22.781
We weren't.
00:05:22.781 --> 00:05:23.586
We weren't.
00:05:23.586 --> 00:05:27.103
It wasn't like we were hitting the gym three times a week or anything like that.
00:05:27.103 --> 00:05:35.567
The weight loss comes from just learning how to eat the foods that are naturally lower in calories, but it comes from learning how to make them taste great.
00:05:35.567 --> 00:05:38.086
Okay, the weight loss would be number one for you.
00:05:38.125 --> 00:05:41.144
Number one, and these are not in order of importance or anything.
00:05:41.165 --> 00:05:42.608
Right, just first thing that came to mind.
00:05:42.629 --> 00:05:43.610
Just what comes to mind.
00:05:43.610 --> 00:05:50.430
Second one was aches and pains Okay, Specifically thinking back to shoulder, having some impingement type pain.
00:05:50.430 --> 00:05:56.315
Also, hips, where the bursa are, trochenteric bursa, there on the.
00:05:56.315 --> 00:06:05.367
If you touch your hip and you feel that little bony portion on the outside of it, that's where the trochenteric bursa was and mine it would ache.
00:06:05.367 --> 00:06:09.468
It wasn't debilitating, but it was still noticeable and went on.
00:06:09.468 --> 00:06:18.348
I probably saved a couple years before we went a hundred percent plant based and then within a few months I just noticed it was gone.
00:06:18.709 --> 00:06:18.949
Right.
00:06:19.480 --> 00:06:29.187
It probably happened before I noticed it, but, and again, it was subtle and occasionally if I'd reached for something in the back seat of my car, my shoulder would grab me like ooh ah and it would be painful.
00:06:29.187 --> 00:06:38.307
And then, just one morning, I remember getting ready for work and thinking wait a minute, my shoulder doesn't bother me, so that was nice not having those daily aches and pains.
00:06:38.427 --> 00:06:39.930
Right, I remember that too.
00:06:39.930 --> 00:06:46.206
I mean, I ate so badly, I constantly was hurting and all my joint pains gone now I even developed frozen shoulder at one point.
00:06:46.206 --> 00:06:49.249
It was severe and I thought am I going to have to live with this forever?
00:06:49.249 --> 00:06:51.773
Do you remember me telling you I was staying in the shower?
00:06:51.773 --> 00:07:00.045
and washing my hair, and I'd just be crying because it hurts so bad to press on my scalp with my fingertips to wash my hair, and I thought nobody understands this.
00:07:00.045 --> 00:07:02.007
This is horrible to be in this situation.
00:07:02.007 --> 00:07:05.608
I don't want any of you to ever feel like you have to stay in that situation.
00:07:05.608 --> 00:07:07.502
Food is key.
00:07:07.502 --> 00:07:22.588
Food is key, and if you can start getting whole plant foods in the place of those other foods that are causing your inflammation, causing the weight to not come off or to even increase, you get those foods out and you get the right thing in their place in the way that you actually enjoy them.
00:07:22.588 --> 00:07:24.353
That's quick and simple with your lifestyle.
00:07:24.353 --> 00:07:25.555
It's game on.
00:07:25.555 --> 00:07:26.185
I mean.
00:07:26.185 --> 00:07:29.569
This is the key, this is how you do it and that's what we're all about.
00:07:29.569 --> 00:07:33.213
So you've got weight loss and then you've got the aches and pains.
00:07:33.213 --> 00:07:37.735
Okay, so I'm just thinking in my mind right now how that actually is translating into life change.
00:07:37.735 --> 00:07:45.533
We're not going to go there yet, but I want you to start thinking that through as well Weight loss and the aches and pains going away.
00:07:46.706 --> 00:07:49.115
And then I would say vascular issues.
00:07:49.115 --> 00:07:51.110
Notice the reversal with that.
00:07:51.110 --> 00:08:05.220
So I mean there are immediate implications, but also long-term implications, just because if you're getting vascular blockage, what might that mean when you hit your 70s and 80s Right, or even before in your 40s for men a lot of times.
00:08:05.220 --> 00:08:13.218
Well that, but I'm thinking mentally in your 70s or 80s, that you start not remembering things so well.
00:08:13.377 --> 00:08:13.517
Right.
00:08:14.545 --> 00:08:17.449
So you're just getting older, so there's that aspect.
00:08:17.865 --> 00:08:24.552
Is he just getting older, though, or are his vessels clogged because of the foods that he's been eating and the ones he hasn't been getting?
00:08:24.685 --> 00:08:25.850
And I've mentioned this before.
00:08:25.850 --> 00:08:30.398
You take somebody that is normal, maybe 10, 20 years.
00:08:30.398 --> 00:08:34.149
Grandma got old and you collapse that time span.
00:08:34.149 --> 00:08:35.293
What would you think?
00:08:35.293 --> 00:08:36.708
Grandma had a stroke.
00:08:36.708 --> 00:08:45.184
All of a sudden she went from being vibrant and with it, to just forgetful and kind of walking around and just kind of existing.
00:08:45.446 --> 00:08:51.711
So if it happened really fast what we call natural aging if it happened really fast, you would call it a stroke or a major event.
00:08:51.711 --> 00:09:01.057
Yes, but because it happened over time, you're just saying oh, it's insane, it's so slow, it's insidious that you think she's just getting older that's what we expect, right, that's just what happens?
00:09:01.096 --> 00:09:06.654
Yeah, no, that's what you expect if you keep doing the same things that your society around you is doing.
00:09:07.255 --> 00:09:07.437
Right.
00:09:08.085 --> 00:09:14.672
So there's that, but men in their 40s and 50s heart attack, maybe 60s as those vessels get blocked heart attack.
00:09:15.346 --> 00:09:17.993
Well, it's because men in their 40s other issues.
00:09:17.993 --> 00:09:20.730
Right, and those things can totally reverse.
00:09:20.730 --> 00:09:25.936
Blood flow affects every area of your body.
00:09:25.936 --> 00:09:34.568
So it's not just your brain, it's not just private issues, it's not just all these types of things that it affects.
00:09:34.568 --> 00:09:35.351
It affects everything.
00:09:35.351 --> 00:09:38.912
It affects your gut health, it affects your peripheral nerves.
00:09:38.991 --> 00:09:52.230
It affects everything your body has to have blood flow, what it needs, you're hearing, because blood flow is what carries nutrients and oxygen to the body, but also helps to bring the waste products away.
00:09:52.230 --> 00:09:55.312
Right, that your kidneys filter out, that your liver filters out.
00:09:55.312 --> 00:09:59.615
So when you've got healthy blood flow, it affects everything positively.
00:09:59.655 --> 00:10:17.274
Right, because it's about, like you said, getting the nourishment there but removing the waste, and so if it's not happening appropriately, you're not getting the nourishment you need, your body isn't getting what it needs in the specific areas to function right, but it's also the waste is building up and it destroys cells, and that's a problem.
00:10:17.274 --> 00:10:18.238
That's a big problem.
00:10:18.238 --> 00:10:21.894
And then we see this outfall of all these different disease processes.
00:10:21.894 --> 00:10:32.208
And number four what is the fourth thing that comes to mind when you think about the life-changing benefits you've been given through whole food, plant-based living?
00:10:34.032 --> 00:10:38.162
This was a definite change, slash, improvement.
00:10:38.162 --> 00:10:45.578
It's not to the same degree as the others, but I never have problems with constipation.
00:10:45.578 --> 00:10:53.995
Now it's a definite health issue, but it's not one of those where my tennis game is better because I'm not constipated.
00:10:53.995 --> 00:11:06.812
But that was a definite difference with going all-in whole food, plant-based, getting that fiber, which I know that on the backside of things too, is that you're eliminating more waste products because of the fiber.
00:11:06.812 --> 00:11:12.477
It keeps things moving through, right it keeps things moving through, but moving through in a proper speed.
00:11:12.960 --> 00:11:14.426
Right, I know I'll say quickly.
00:11:14.525 --> 00:11:22.138
But quickly is in relationship to the typical standard American diet, but it moves it through normally, so things don't just sit there.
00:11:22.500 --> 00:11:33.695
Yeah, because when things sit, they rot and it gets bad in there and you don't want that and it's not good and it's not normal you have increased risk of colon cancer, especially with things like the prepared meats.
00:11:34.177 --> 00:11:38.238
When you have to strain to have a bowel movement, you have increased risk of diverticulosis.
00:11:38.238 --> 00:11:39.504
It's just.
00:11:39.504 --> 00:11:40.467
It's bad all around.
00:11:40.467 --> 00:11:42.657
But I would say that was a definite change.
00:11:43.360 --> 00:11:45.649
That's a change for everybody that goes plant-based.
00:11:45.649 --> 00:11:52.490
I mean, it is a game changer and sometimes you don't even realize you had a problem and then you're thinking is this how things always should have been Like?
00:11:52.490 --> 00:11:56.144
It shouldn't have been a 10 to 25 minute process.
00:11:56.144 --> 00:12:01.721
It's just you go to the bathroom and you leave and it's all fine, and you don't even think about it.
00:12:01.721 --> 00:12:11.691
It just is amazing and you feel so much better and cleaner and more energetic, and a lot of that has to do with the fact that everything is moving the way it should.
00:12:11.691 --> 00:12:13.138
You're not stagnant.
00:12:13.318 --> 00:12:15.168
You're keeping your gut bacteria healthy.
00:12:15.168 --> 00:12:16.974
That has health implications.
00:12:17.134 --> 00:12:17.575
Absolutely.
00:12:17.575 --> 00:12:19.120
It can just change so many things.
00:12:19.120 --> 00:12:21.654
They have to have the fiber that they need to be able to.
00:12:21.654 --> 00:12:24.051
That's their food, right, they have to have it.
00:12:24.051 --> 00:12:29.057
So they don't have the food they actually need and it leads to a whole lot of problems.
00:12:29.057 --> 00:12:29.679
So, yeah, that's.
00:12:29.679 --> 00:12:30.884
That's huge right there.
00:12:31.246 --> 00:12:40.384
And last but not least is and last, I would say a big, noticeable change that's an everyday type thing would be energy With the foods that we used to eat.
00:12:40.384 --> 00:12:47.575
Before it was high in animal products, high in dairy eggs, high in the saturated fats, the cholesterol, all that.
00:12:47.917 --> 00:12:50.126
And it has a way of weighing you down.
00:12:50.126 --> 00:12:52.035
They're happy foods, it can make your blood sluggish.
00:12:52.337 --> 00:12:56.701
I mean, it just always weighed us down and I don't have that anymore with the way that we eat.
00:12:56.701 --> 00:12:57.485
Isn't it amazing?
00:12:57.485 --> 00:12:58.208
I feel energized.
00:12:58.389 --> 00:12:59.072
It's amazing.
00:12:59.072 --> 00:13:13.772
Think about oil and how thick it is and heavy, and meats and the heavy fats and oils and grease and just all these different, the fats, the cholesterol and eggs and how fatty and heavy everything is, and you don't have that feeling anymore.
00:13:13.772 --> 00:13:16.097
You kind of feel like the foods you eat.
00:13:16.097 --> 00:13:18.154
It's amazing, but it's absolutely true.
00:13:18.154 --> 00:13:25.162
And so all of a sudden you find yourself with more energy and you're able to do all these things that you just dreamed about doing before.
00:13:25.162 --> 00:13:28.559
And you were so frustrated but you were just trying to survive.
00:13:28.559 --> 00:13:31.322
You were in survival mode, trying to survive the dates.
00:13:31.322 --> 00:13:34.533
You could get home and crash and burn and do it all over again.
00:13:34.533 --> 00:13:36.158
And that was our story.
00:13:36.158 --> 00:13:49.812
I can, thank God I'm on the side of it where I can kind of look back and go, oh, and just be happy and laughing about I'm not laughing about what we went through, because it was horrible, but just on the other side, being able to smile and chuckle and say you know, we got our lives back.
00:13:49.812 --> 00:13:52.240
We got our lives back and that's basically what happened.
00:13:52.240 --> 00:13:54.173
And that's exactly what happened.
00:13:54.173 --> 00:13:58.263
So when we go to the two of 52, jair, it's 52.
00:13:58.263 --> 00:14:03.711
I want him to tell you two of the reasons that he would not consider living any other way.
00:14:03.711 --> 00:14:06.179
Now, I mean, would you consider going back?
00:14:06.480 --> 00:14:07.905
No, never.
00:14:08.649 --> 00:14:09.937
Is there anything you miss?
00:14:11.927 --> 00:14:25.004
No, I mean there are times when you're walking around the neighborhood and you smell somebody barbecuing and you may have some of those positive associations of gatherings with people, but it's not about the food in that situation.
00:14:25.166 --> 00:14:28.004
So you're not wishing you just had a baby cueball or the bench and mean stuff like that.
00:14:28.024 --> 00:14:28.306
No, not at all.
00:14:28.306 --> 00:14:32.515
I don't have a desire for steak chicken, whatever we used to do.
00:14:32.965 --> 00:14:37.155
So you're thinking, you're just thinking it's time to invite the family and friends over and have a plant-based party.
00:14:37.298 --> 00:14:38.104
That's what you're thinking.
00:14:38.104 --> 00:14:39.388
Yes, it's more of that.
00:14:39.388 --> 00:14:43.136
So I do not miss the old way of eating at all.
00:14:43.524 --> 00:14:45.052
And I feel the exact same way.
00:14:45.052 --> 00:14:56.903
I mean, there's nothing that I miss, and I feel like that's the biggest key to setting yourself up for success in life with your health, and that is finding the way that you love to eat the most healthy foods on the planet.
00:14:56.903 --> 00:15:01.625
And that's exactly what we've done and what we love showing you how to do so.
00:15:01.625 --> 00:15:14.115
You've established that you would never want to go back, and I think the two things that I want you to share the reasons you wouldn't consider living any other way will get more insight into the fact that you just wouldn't.
00:15:14.225 --> 00:15:15.307
All right, the two reasons.
00:15:15.307 --> 00:15:18.736
One, because the science behind it is so solid.
00:15:18.736 --> 00:15:27.336
We know, without a doubt the science supports, that the healthiest way of living is whole food, plant-based.
00:15:27.336 --> 00:15:34.519
It provides everything our body needs Right Now, of course, with plant-based vitamin B12 supplement.
00:15:34.519 --> 00:15:39.596
But if we were doing things the way we should be doing, them, three 400 years ago wouldn't be an issue.
00:15:39.596 --> 00:15:41.490
We didn't even know what vitamin B12 was back then.
00:15:41.812 --> 00:15:42.032
Right.
00:15:43.025 --> 00:15:51.052
But I would say the science is so solid behind it that I feel like it would be intellectually dishonest for me to just abandon this.
00:15:51.052 --> 00:15:53.057
And it's like Dr Michael Greger says.
00:15:53.057 --> 00:15:58.456
He said if the research showed that there was any other, better way than this, he would do that.
00:15:58.804 --> 00:16:06.746
And you feel the same way with all the science, all the nutrition research that you've read, everything that we've discovered along the way, all the new stuff that keeps coming out.
00:16:06.807 --> 00:16:09.907
It supports it and puts further proof behind it.
00:16:09.907 --> 00:16:11.158
So there would be that.
00:16:11.481 --> 00:16:16.380
Okay, that's emberant, because I feel like we're coming at it from the science aspect of it.
00:16:16.789 --> 00:16:19.636
And then number two is just the way it makes me feel.
00:16:19.957 --> 00:16:21.701
The proof, the results, the proof, yeah.
00:16:21.950 --> 00:16:24.136
Like we said, I don't miss the old way of eating.
00:16:24.136 --> 00:16:25.220
I feel better.
00:16:25.220 --> 00:16:28.159
I've had these things that have reversed that.
00:16:28.159 --> 00:16:31.571
I was told 20 something years ago in school Would never reverse that.
00:16:31.571 --> 00:16:32.735
These don't reverse.
00:16:32.775 --> 00:16:33.719
Right, they're not reversible.
00:16:33.719 --> 00:16:35.013
And not only us.
00:16:35.013 --> 00:16:38.201
We see our clients have this all the time.
00:16:38.201 --> 00:16:39.894
We hear from our members.
00:16:39.894 --> 00:16:42.201
My blood pressure is going down.
00:16:42.201 --> 00:16:44.798
I'm off my blood pressure medications.
00:16:44.798 --> 00:16:47.138
My cholesterol has gone back to normal.
00:16:47.138 --> 00:16:49.490
I took Nexium for 14 years.
00:16:49.490 --> 00:16:51.116
I don't have to take it anymore.
00:16:51.116 --> 00:17:00.416
The headaches were so scary and I went in and was getting MRIs of my brain and they didn't find anything that was wrong and it's all that's gone.
00:17:00.416 --> 00:17:03.239
Now I have no headaches anymore.
00:17:03.239 --> 00:17:05.303
You know these things matter.
00:17:05.303 --> 00:17:06.210
Why do they matter?
00:17:06.210 --> 00:17:08.009
Is it just because it's dangerous for our life?
00:17:08.009 --> 00:17:09.174
Well, yeah, that matters.
00:17:09.174 --> 00:17:11.577
But what is really the thing here?
00:17:11.577 --> 00:17:13.109
What is the key that we're after?
00:17:13.109 --> 00:17:15.818
We're all after quality of life.
00:17:15.818 --> 00:17:22.982
We want to be able to do the things that we want to do, the things that God's called us to do in this life.
00:17:22.982 --> 00:17:33.463
Right, you have a calling on your life, you have a mission on your life, you have things that God has set you in this world to do, and you cannot do those things if you feel rotten every day.
00:17:33.463 --> 00:17:35.210
I mean it's just not possible.
00:17:35.210 --> 00:17:37.198
And we think to ourselves what am I going to do?
00:17:37.198 --> 00:17:41.417
I've got this thing I want to do and that thing I want to do, but then you never get to him because you don't have the energy.
00:17:41.417 --> 00:17:43.637
It's not because you don't have good intentions.
00:17:43.637 --> 00:17:49.722
It's not because you haven't created a plan or tried to organize it out or figured out how to fit it into your life and make time.
00:17:49.722 --> 00:17:56.983
The first thing you've got to do is actually physically feel well so that you can do these things.
